When we decided to get married back in 2022, we knew that a “traditional” wedding ceremony and reception were not something we were interested in. We wanted a ceremony to honor our commitment to each other, as well as our values as a couple. We did not want to have a performance of what was expected of us; we wanted to come up with our own traditions and magic. The overwhelming amount of decision-making and planning became clear, and we were unsure of how to make our dream event happen. Upon our first meeting with Taylor, it quickly became clear that she could help us forge that path.
Taylor helped us lay out all of our goals and intentions in a realistic way. From catering to the masses, to fine-tuning important details, Taylor bridged the gap with spreadsheets, budget options, and pro/con lists. We felt like we could throw any idea at her, and she would have the answer. Soon, it got to the point where we wouldn’t make any decisions without consulting Taylor.
From conception to the day of the wedding ceremony, Taylor was our saving grace. One of the most important things to us was that on the day of our ceremony, to be able to fully enjoy the day and be present. We were so impressed with how Taylor had organized everyone and everything down to the smallest details with coordination and expertise. Logistically, everything went exactly as planned. We could never have imagined that we would be so calm on our wedding day. She even gave us the most precious poem and gift that really set the mood for our day.
Creating magic does require a budget. Taylor’s experience in event planning has made her no stranger to the costs of venues, catering, decor, and the countless other expenses you don’t always consider at first. Her resourcefulness is a huge strength in that aspect. We were able to have our entire event within our budget and still have it be beyond our wildest dreams.
Our friends and family are still talking about how this was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to. We highly recommend Taylor’s services for anyone who is looking to create a truly unique and memorable event. Not only did she exceed our expectations, but she made the hard parts fun and easy! We mean it when we say we would not have had a wedding without Taylor.
